PSD to WordPress is one of my favourites because it takes out the design aspect and allows me to focus on the coding aspect. That gives you complete control over your design. If you can create it in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, I will find a way to put it on WordPress.

I received a Photoshop file of the image below and was asked to convert the PSD to WordPress. If you click on the image, the actual web page will open in another tab.

The brief was to make use of a plugin called Elementor, so that it could be re-used and modified by the client if they wanted. The client also asked for a last minute image replacement

The original links for the offer would ordinarily lead back to the actual courses on the Udemy website, but the links have been removed for demonstration purposes.

Another pre-requisite was that it had to be the free version of Elementor, and as a result that restricted some of the required functionality that is normally offered by the paid version of their product.

In this case it was the countdown clock. Since it is a key element to this page design, a JavaScript script was used in it’s place. The countdown clocked is fully styled to match the clock from the PSD file. The current timeout date is set to the 4th of October 2022, simply because that’s my birthday 🙂
